If a valued client is having issues with your services, who do you want talking them off the ledge? Perhaps you feel as  though you're the best person to handle an issue like this. But don't you have other things on your plate? Many times, the person managing client accounts is a technician. Hey everyone, welcome back for another edition of IT Rewind! Are you ready to do this thing? I know I am!

According to Cisco, Flash exploits are on the rise. In its 2015 midyear security report, Cisco says that 62 Adobe Flash Players vulnerabilities have resulted in code execution on user machines. To find a number as high as that one, you’d have to go all the way back to 2001. Cisco went on to say that Flash exploits are being integrated into exploit kits like Angler and Nuclear. The exploits of the vulnerabilities are being included in these kits just days after the vulnerabilities are publically announced. Enterprises that aren’t patching for these vulnerabilities in a timely manner are certainly going to be left vulnerable.

Web.com is the latest company to get hit with a credit card breach. The Internet services provider had its computer systems breached and cred card information for about 93,000 accounts were compromised. Along with the credit card information, names and addresses were acquired. The security breach was discovered on August 13th as a part of the company’s security monitoring. The good news in all of this? It does not appear that additional customer information, including social security numbers were compromised.
