Nathan Teplow Reaching New Heights as an IT ChannelChanger!

We're proud to announce that our own Nathan Teplow, Marketing Programs Manager here at Continuum, has been named an IT ChannelChanger by CompTIA, the IT Industry Trade Association! Nate runs our company's blog, email operations and other content activities. The MSP's Casey Kasem, Nate also hosts and produces our weekly MSPradio segments, delivering hot topics, business tips and industry news to “on-the-go” Managed Services Provider (MSP) partners and prospects. What's more?

Nate received the news 15,000 feet in the air, having just hiked Machu Picchu. Clearly, the sky's the limit for this one.


CompTIA's 2014 ChannelChangers

A first of its kind awards program for the IT channel, CompTIA’s 2014 ChannelChangers recognized five young entrepreneurs and innovators who are making their mark in the technology industry and shaping the future of the IT channel. These emerging leaders are being applauded for their early successes and relentless pursuit of excellence and originality.

“The innovative minds and impressive accomplishments of our winners and many of our nominees is a sure sign that the future of the IT channel is in good hands. We are honored to recognize Nathan Teplow as the first recipient of the CompTIA ChannelChanger award.” ~Kelly Ricker, Senior Vice President, Events and Education, CompTIA~

Young professionals between the ages of 23 and 29 as of August 2014 who have two years’ experience in the IT industry and are currently employed by a CompTIA member company were eligible for consideration as a ChannelChanger. Nominees were evaluated on a number of criteria including the quality of their achievements and accomplishments, their understanding of the channel’s opportunities and challenges and how well they thought and acted beyond their own company to benefit the industry as a whole.

“IT marketing is behind in terms of techniques and tactics, and most MSPs don’t have the time to effectively leverage modern marketing tactics or even learn about them. My efforts involve creating content that our partners can use to find new clients, improve their operations and ultimately, grow their business. Winners were selected by a committee of IT industry executives and experts, including Robert Demarzo, Senior Vice President, Strategic Content, The Channel Company; Heather Murray, Vice President, Tech Data Mobile Solutions, Tech Data Corporation; Bob Stegner, Senior Vice President, North America marketing, Synnex; Larry Walsh, CEO and Chief Analyst, The 2112 Group; Barry Williams, Senior Director, Indirect Channel Sales, Comcast; and Mark Williams, CEO, Pensar.

The award winners will be recognized at CompTIA’s ChannelCon 2014, the premier partnering and training event for IT vendors, distributors and channel partners.
